Still, are these Packers fans or Favre fans? As a Broncos fan, I know about having a legend retire as well as anybody. We all felt strong ties to John Elway, but we didn't fawn over ourselves like Packers fans. When I was 16 (being born in 1982), Elway was the only signal-caller I'd ever known in orange and blue, so it was sad to see him go. Nevertheless, we've moved on (which Packers fan must do) and will embrace Jay Cutler. If fans are so smart and knowledgeable, then why don't they work in the front office? If Wisconsinans are really Packers fans, they should accept the ruling that Thompson, Murphy, and McCarthy have made and cheer for their team.
