I’ve learned the Bruce Springsteen halftime setlist in advance - from a very well-placed source.
If you don’t want to know, don’t click here.
The setlist:
Tenth Avenue Freeze Out
Born To Run
Working on a Dream (new song)
Glory Days
My prediction: Steelers 24, Cardinals 17

Any music industry neophyte could have told you "Born In The U.S.A." wouldn't have made the setlist. It was meant as a song to protest the treatment of veterans of the Vietnam War… even with his man in the White House, I don't see him using it in such a fashion.

And the Reagan administration briefly used "Born in the USA" as a re-election anthem, not to mention "Born to Run" being one of the state songs (roughly speaking) of New Jersey despite not being the most flattering song about Jersey. With that history of missing the point of Springsteen songs, why not "Born in the USA"?

Is that the setlist order as well? I would've thought he'd open with "Born to Run."
