C.J. of the MINNEAPOLIS STAR-TRIBUNE plays the family feud, as ex-Twin Al Newman gets caught up in a catfight between his wife and daughter.

Authorities arrested 47-year-old Deborah Jean Newman on Sunday for allegedly assaulting 18-year-old Taylor Elizabeth Newman. According to police documents, Taylor said her stepmom “punched her in the face and threw bleach cleaning solution at her.” Taylor then called her mom, Al’s first wife Sophie, who then called the cops.

Police found Taylor away from the house and at a local McDonald’s. An ambulance was also called over to treat Taylor’s skin burns from the bleach.

Al wasn’t around during the argument, saying he was working a home & garden show. When he heard about the ruckus, he reacted as any husband and father would - by brushing it off as “catty women’s stuff“.

“Al Newman sounded unfazed and started to laugh when recalling that police officers told him of the situation.

‘I thought you had something better to tell me,’ he said before guffawing, a laugh we’ve all heard before.”

Throwing around bleach then laughing it off. Wow. Imagine what the Newman household must be like during the holidays.
