Barrett’s trial is scheduled to begin on Jan. 12.

Barrett faces five years in federal prison if convicted. Barring any unforeseen details of his defense, you would think he could be facing a maximum sentence. If he’s indeed guilty of the crimes, let’s hope so.

Brooks, Andrews’ counsel would have no official say in a plea deal as this is a criminal case that would be prosecuted by the government, not private counsel. It is up to the Federal prosecutor to offer or accept any plea deals.

    To Innocent:

Let the guy go?? Okay, right after he videos your naked daughter and puts it all over the web, then let him go.

After all, he would not be doing anything wrong.
