CONS BEING SOLD BY WADE: The BOSTON HERALD reports today that in a new commercial featuring Dwyane Wade, he “expounds on his religious beliefs.” The new 30-second Converse spot is called “Faith”:

Wade in the spot “If you don’t have faith in what God does for the Earth and for you, then you’re lost.”
Marketers said that the statement “could ruffle the feathers of non-believers.”
If Wade wants to be taken seriously about his religious beliefs, he might consider not using the backdrop of a paid commercial, in which he is selling sneakers.
