GRADY LITTLE RESIGNS FROM DODGERS, JOE READY TO GO?: The Dodgers announced in a conference call today in Los Angeles that manager Grady Little has officially resigned from the club.

Little indicated in a statement Tuesday that the decision was mutual between the now ex-manager and the team, and not solely based on the possibility of Joe Torre taking over.However, the past day’s speculation has been that the ex-Yankees skipper would be heading to Chavez Ravine to lead the Blue Crew. Now the window of opportunity appears to be wide open for Torre to take the job.
