Although I do believe Simmons in this case, I did have a similar situation with him last year. I wrote an email to him comparing bumbling Clippers GM Elgin Baylor to Nipsy Russell. His next column in ESPN.com mysteriously made that same comparison but he gave himself credit for that idea.
