DB’S “RIGHT DIRECTION” IS IN REVERSE AFTER DUI CHARGE: The ASSOCIATED PRESS had a positive piece on David Boston’s attempt to return to NFL stardom on Tuesday:
The AP’s Fred Goodall writes that Boston, who has played only five games in the last three years because of injuries, said earlier this week “that’s he learned from his mistakes and is determined to capitalize on what could be his final opportunity to resurrect his career.”
Boston: “I’ve had some ups and downs. … Now, I’m moving in the right direction.”
Two days later the Bucs’ receiver was popped for DUI. Last night he was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
He passed a breathalyzer test on the scene and is awaiting the results of a urine test.
