Although the ladies in New York and L.A. think they know how to party, Danica Patrick says that when it comes to having a good time, don’t discount the Midwest gals.
The NEW YORK POST’s PAGE SIX catches the Wisconsin-born racy racer explaining to Complex magazine (never heard of it, either) that growing up in the Great Lakes region helped her hone her hedonistic ways:
“That’s because we grew up with a back yard, a bonfire, a backpack of beer, and nothing else to do,”
Come on, there must have been some activities available to pass the time. What about the theater? Museums, maybe?
“There isn’t much culture in little old towns, so we learn to party.”

Fair enough. Lucky for Danica, her early years of boozing it up didn’t result in a spare tire around her waist. Otherwise, she couldn’t have fit in her car.
Then again, if she got back to downing a few brews on the weekend, the weight gain might convince the IRL to drop their “Danica rule.”
