The entertainment quotient for Dan Le Batard’s radio show on WAXY in Miami is exceedingly higher than normal today, as the radio transmitter for the station is down.

That means Le Batard’s show today is only being broadcasted on the internet. It also means Le Batard isn’t hemmed in by FCC standards, so he can say anything he wants. He’s taking full advantage, having dropped a “M-F” in the 5 O’Clock hour (among other things).

Awhile back I emailed station PD Steve White to ask him why the station doesn’t archive full shows on the WAXY website. I got no response - and now I know why!

I miss Miami already!
