Cutler Seen At Kelly Clarkson Show With a Dude

The CHICAGO TRIBUNE has this today:

Jay Cutler went to Kelly Clarkson concert

(You’ll never take the Vandy out of him)

Kelly Clarkson performed a five-song acoustic set at Hub 51 (51 W. Hubbard St.) on Monday in front of 101.9 FM contest winners and invited guests, including Jay Cutler. The Bears quarterback had dinner and watched as Clarkson sang locker room favorites “I Do Not Hook Up” and “My Life Would Suck Without You.”

Should Jay Cutler have his man card permanently revoked?

Bears backup QB Caleb Hanie joined Cutler at the show, which means Cutler likely used the phrase “If I’m going down, you’re going down with me” a few times Monday.

Whoa.

Okay, first off let’s be fair here. The piece said Cutler was an “invited guest”, so who knows if he just showed up as a favor to a friend. Maybe he has some sort of relationship with the radio station or venue.

But Kelly Clarkson? Keep it on the iPod.

And if you’re going to get dragged to something like that, you not only take a guy with you, but a teammate of the NFL team you play on? My god.

Epic man card violation.

Oh, wait. Forgot. Dude went to Vandy. My bad.

As I’ve said numerous times about Chicago…

As for the Bears, Cutler can do whatever he wants. He just got an extension from Chicago, who gives up money to anybody in sports who moderately “entertains” them. Chicago’s losing culture begets more losing.

Outside of Ditka and the 85 Bears, and His Airness, what masculine sports figures has this dumpy town ever had to look up to?

Perhaps, he did it for a very hot young lady who was also in attendance.

Manly for putting up with that sh!t. That is why I’m still single today.

I would crack under such ungodly horrific music and tell the bezzie to get lost!

Don’t care about this story, but I do know that they could hear the laughing all the way from Denver when Cutler got his extension……

Hahaha he went to a Kelly Clarkson concert. I’m sure all the 14-year-olds who read this site are eating it up.

Hub 51 is a Bar/Club in Chicago that Cutler and many Chicago Athletes go to. Its not like a concert venue were you would have to pay tickets to see the concert. Im sure many people there had no idea she was even playing a show there.

Respect, are you f-ing kidding me? I like how you say “his airness” like the Bulls didn’t dominate basketball for a decade. Just because the cubs suck doesn’t mean Chicago has a losing culture. You can’t find masculine sports figures, I’d put Chicago up against any city in any era. did you forget about Singletary, Payton, Butkus, Bill George, Carlton Fisk, Greg Luzinski, Frank Thomas, and that’s just in my lifetime (maybe not Bill George, I’m not that old) or are you just stupid?

Roenick, Hull, Savard, Brian Piccolo, Gale Sayers, these are all just off the top of my head

Kelly Clarkson has an amazing voice, and I don’t think Jay has anything to be ashamed of for going to the concert. Deep down you all love Kelly Clarkson…just admit it already. Geez.
