With Frank Thomas heading to the Toronto Blue Jays, the Oakland A’s may try to replace one aging slugger with another.
FANBALL reports that Oakland and Barry Bonds have shown a mutual interest this off-season.
A’s managing partner Lewis Wolff told MLB.com, “Statistically, Barry is terrific, but you know how we operate. We’re going to stay in a certain budget.”
