The DENVER POST reports that police arrested a man who was trying to sell baseball tickets at three times the face value. He sold two to undercover cops for $300 each, and was caught holding 58 more stubs. The man, not identified by police, even had a spreadsheet to help him keep track of his dishonest distribution.
The scalper hoped to make at least $14,000 from his sales. Instead, he faces misdemeanor charges and fines of up to $900. Meanwhile, police confiscated the tickets. Does this mean they get to go to the game?
