OKOYE PLAYS A PIRATE FOR 1ST TIME SINCE RAIDER GAME: The Mighty MJD of Deadspin and AOL fame reports Survivor creator Mark Burnett is rolling out another ambitious reality series off the assembly line - called “Pirate Master”. The only thing that makes the show remotely interesting is that one of the participants is former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro running back Christian Okoye.

From the looks of the three-minute trailer, which mainly features scantily-clad female contestants and some Pirate-looking dude with a scraggly beard, Okoye will be walking the plank in short order.

Host Cameron Daddo: “What’s going to suck people in about this show is the romance, the adventure and the freedom of Pirates.”

Romance? Here’s hoping the Nigerian nightmare scores before he’s thrown overboard (goodness knows he had plenty of practice against the Raiders).
