If deciding to embark on a future in sports broadcasting, it’s always a good idea for young up-and-comers to consult the Swami.
USA TODAY’s Michael McCarthy catches Chris Berman belting out some sage advice to those who hope to sit in his seat someday (probably a good idea to wipe it off first):
During a CenterStage interview with YES Network’s Michael Kay, Berman cited a tip he received from a veteran broadcaster early in his career.
“Don’t ever be afraid to be a little pushy,” Berman said. But, he added, “Don’t be a pain in the ass. Only you can draw the line.”
Looks like Boomer needs to work on his drawing skills.
