Melissa Rycroft is one busy gal. The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was chosen but then dumped on “The Bachelor” season finale, and is currently shaking her money maker on “Dancing With The Stars”.

And now the rah-rah girl-turned-reality TV star is being approached to also make her mark in the print media. Specifically, magazines. More specifically, nudie magazines. Yes, Melissa is being pursued to pose for Playboy.

BUDDY TV uncovers news from STAR MAGAZINE that Hugh Hefner himself has personally penned a letter to Rycroft, inviting her to the Playboy Mansion to discuss a possible pictorial that could put up to $500,000 in Melissa’s pockets.

“Hef really wants Melissa to do a pictorial because she’s the ultimate girl next door,” a source told Star. “He thinks she has it all: beauty, brains and spunk. And it doesn’t hurt that she has a terrific figure.”

However, Rycroft refuted that any such offer has been made to her. After Monday night’s “DWTS” broadcast, she told an “Access Hollywood” reporter, “I don’t know where that started.”

But she could just be saying that to stay out of trouble. Her contract with ABC apparently stipulates that she’s not allowed to bare it all for any cameras while she’s on the show - a ban that also extends three months after her ‘Dancing’ days are done. So Melissa might actually be interested in a Playboy photoshoot (and the $500K that goes with it), but doesn’t want to admit to it in fear of jeopardizing her TV career.

Or maybe Melissa honestly doesn’t want to take any naked pictures. She is in reality television, and there’s nothing phony or deceitful about that.
