1. As has already been pointed out, Mr Neal’s understanding of early American history is incredibly flawed.

2. I’m a fairly staunch atheist, and I still don’t see this as being a big deal.

3. In my mind complaining about things like this make people less likely to listen when there are church/state issues that are actually important, such as Congress continuing to throw money away on abstinence-only sex education programs.

Fort Oglethorp is a suburb of Chattanooga, TN. 500,000 people in the metro area. 1500 students at this school, so no this is not 7 on 7 or the middle of nowhere. Just shows you how strongly some folks around here react to God.
