8:00 PM The Sun reports that former WWE wrestler Edward "Umaga" Fatu has died at the age of 36 of an apparent heart attack.

7:45 PM The Wall Street Journal reports that Congress could be voting on a bill to force a college football playoff as early as next week. But BCS head Bill Hancock counters: "With everything going in the country right now, doesn't Congress have more important things to do?"
