With the Mark Cuban-Kenyon Martin flap apparently settled, you’d think that would be the end of any hostilities between the Dallas Mavericks & Denver Nuggets. Thank goodness for LaLa Vasquez.
The MTV personality (as if anyone on MTV had any personality) and fiancee of Carmelo Anthony got into it with some Mavericks fans at the American Airlines Arena during Game 4, with the result of LaLa saying “Ta-ta!” as she was escorted out by security.
The video footage found only shows the aftermath of the incident, so we’re not exactly sure what started the whole mess. But Ms. Vasquez explains why it all went down - because Mavericks fans are racists.
TMZ shoots up a statement from LaLa claiming the Dallas crowd was not very nice to her and her posse:
“Obviously the play-off games bring out the best and the worst in fans but what happened on Monday night with the racial slurs/threats, verbal attacks on my son and physical attacks to myself by irate fans was unacceptable. The fans were totally out of control. What the cameras captured was me defending myself and didn’t show the abuse that was taking place.”
Typical Texans, right? But hold on - some Mavs fans say they’re being slandered as vicious Vasquez attackers. One season ticket holder, Peggy (last name withheld), told the DALLAS MORNING NEWS that she was sitting in the row right behind LaLa, and it was one of her bodyguards that began the brouhaha:
The hostility started, according to Peggy, when the bodyguard turned around and loudly and crudely insulted her. “Everybody started defending me,” she said, “and it just got really nasty.”
Peggy denies any fans directed any racial slurs or threats toward Vasquez, and that LaLa is a “has-been whatever” that “just wanted attention“:
“Dallas fans are getting a bad rap for this,” Peggy said. “I think they’re pulling the race card, and there’s nothing to it. It’s ridiculous, because it’s not at all what they’re saying.”
Here’s hoping this Mavs-Nuggets series goes seven games.

I used to be a police officer and anytime I pulled over/arrested an "African American" (I hate that term because I think we're all Americans, period. But I'll pacify the politically correct police.) I'd expect to hear the race card, and when I didn't I was pleasantly surprised, unfortunately I wasn't pleasantly surprised too often. One time it led to this exchange:
Me: "Turn around and put your hands behind your back."
Person: "You're only arresting me because I'm black.
Me: "No I'm arresting you because you just bit two hunks of flesh out of the tow truck drivers arm."
Person: "Ain't no whiteboy ever got arrested for doing that."
I guess he was right, because I never arrested anyone else for biting chunks out of a person. Obviously racism still exists, but the uneducated Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton followers are the ones who are led to believe that they're always the victims and that others are responsible for them acting that way. Plenty of white trash act that way too, (i.e.-the cops are out to get me) but they don't have the built in skin color excuse.

Lala seems like she is most likely lying. She dosent speak for all minorities in the U.S. I think most people feel mistreated by the police at some time or another thats just how it is. If you are white you will never understand the plight of the african american race, and saying that they are always claiming racism should speak more about our society how prevalant racism still is. I am in no way saying its always true, but atleast give them the benefit of the doubt.

1:civil rights came about in the 60's and due to REPUBLICAN efforts. it happened before most people on this site were even born, not 20 years ago.
2: if lala is correct, why then is security only dealing with her, the fans behind her are just standing there watching, with 1 older lady pointing her finger.
