Caption Contest: Penn State Mascot DOIN WUT?

It’s been an eventful year for Penn State’s mascot.

Penn State's Mascot in the bushes

(Full Size: DO NOT WANT)

There’s been unending speculation about the mascot’s status with the school throughout the football season, and Penn State’s visit to the Outback Bowl did little to quell the rumblings.

But I can confirm today that I’ve learned the future of Penn State’s longest-running, high-profile representative of the school.

Penn State student Max Levi, seen in the above photo doing … umm … something at the Outback Bowl today, is a senior and will not be back as the school’s mascot in 2011.

Joe Paterno? No idea.

Here we see the Nittany Lion hiding in its natural habitat. While most lions are predators, the Nittany Lion is a prey animal while ranging in the southern united states.

It is obvious. He is trying to get a crying Rob Bolden out of the bushes. Rob said if he didn’t play in the game he was going to transfer.
