This box supposedly contains the curse that’s been haunting the Phillies, Eagles, 76ers and Flyers since the Sixers won the city’s last championship in 1983. And now it’s on eBay, where you can buy the Philadelphia sports curse and purge it at your discretion. (Although the seller does insist that you, in turn, curse all of the Florida teams.)

So there you have it. The reason Philly’s teams have been shut out of rings is because of what’s in the box. Which the seller has been aware of for years, but chose to never take action. Makes perfect sense.
