I had some fun seats right behind the left field wall (no, not the bleachers) for the MLB All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium - which served as my live blog perch throughout the evening.
Thank goodness they weren’t anything like this. (Isn’t it brand new?)
Tuffy and S2N have mostly covered all that there is to cover about the game. But I did want to chime in on Jonathan Papelbon claiming his pregnant wife’s life was threatened during the pregame parade yesterday.
(Paps, pregnant wife not too concerned about smears here?)
I happened to be 10 feet from Papelbon for about 30 minutes, during most of his time on the parade route, and I didn’t hear anyone saying such things.
Instead, like last night at Yankee Stadium, it was mostly booing and people yelling “Papelbon you suck!” And chanting “Mariano!” Not saying it didn’t happen at the parade, but I wasn’t witness to it.
I’m on a plane back to L.A. in a few minutes, then a shoot with a new SbB Girl this weekend. Yes, we will be publish pics of these new girls of whom I speak very shortly. Be patient. We have three more shoots coming after this weekend as well!
New York was fantastic. The city was really sparkling for the all star festivities. And with the great weather, I noticed more hotties than ever, especially on Broadway and at the ballpark.
And one other small, weird thing. I always run out of bottled watter in my hotel room, so I end up trying tap. And I must confess, NYC has the best tap water I’ve tasted in forever. No metallic aftertaste. NEW YORK CITY. Amazing.
