COLLEGE SIDS SURE LOVE THEIR BAD FLASH ANIMATION: The college football season is still well over a month away but two schools have already thrown up websites promoting players for the Heisman Trophy.

The University of Louisville is using the URL BrianBrohm.info (did they buy that website extension off some Romanian spammer?) to promote the Cardinal QB. But you’ll be relieved to know that Brohm’s coveted .cc and ws. potential URL extensions are still available.

Cal also has also slapped up a site for little-known wideout DeSean Jackson (the1towatch.com), which shouldn’t experience much server overload after the Bears lose at home to open the season against Tennessee on Sept. 1.
We love these websites, purely based on comedic value. Bad flash animation, overly-compressed video (shot at field level from the parking lot) supported by anonymous stock rock audio tracks (which of course starts up automatically and has no mute function) always helps us turn our frown upside down.
