FAVRE’S NEPHEW DOING JUST FINE AS HIGH SCHOOL SOPH: Dylan Favre is making a name for himself. And not just because his uncle is the all-time winningest quarterback in NFL History.

The BILOXI (MS) SUN-HEARLD checks in on the high school career of Brett’s nephew, and it appears to be going well. As a sophomore starter for St. Stanislaus, he’s completed 51 of 83 passes for 818 yards and 13 touchdowns, while leading his team to a 3-0 start.
But Dylan can only savor his victories with his family once a week. He attends the private Catholic school in Bay St. Louis, MS, while his folks live in Alexandria, LA - a 3 1/2- hour drive away.
It was a tough decision for Jeff Favre to send his son so far away, but he realized that Dylan “didn’t want to go to school in Louisiana; I can understand why. I didn’t want him to be miserable.”

We’re sure the Pelican State’s department of education loves to hear that ringing endorsement.
But all’s fine and dandy with Dylan. St. Stanislaus’ coach happens to be a cousin of the Favre’s, and his parents come up every Friday for game time - so it remains a family affair.
All the while, Dylan can bask in the regional glory of Uncle Brett’s name, who spent his college days at Southern Miss.
The best part of Dylan’s story? The nickname of his high school squad:
