The question was not whether Lewis or Suggs is whining or whether either has ever delivered a cheap shot. The question was whether Quinn deserved to be fined.

The answer is simple. If you hit a player on or below the knees when they are not looking it is labeled a chop block. This is illegal. People receive fines when they do so.

Ipso facto, Brady Quinn gets fined.

Funny thing is, Quinn was not in a position to block seeing as he was playing defense at this point in the play.

Quinn’s explanation of the play…laughable. He took direct aim at Suggs’ knees and anyone who argues this is plain ignorant.

Ray Lewis calling out a cheap shot?!?! Are you kidding me? The man has made a career out of unnecessarily blind siding people. Who would think he is not showing as much class as Chad Ochocinco, who asked Lewis not be fined after he took Lewis’ helmet crown in the grill after a ball went by.

Looked like Quinn was diving straight for the feet of the CBack when Suggs ran in front of him. Didn’t even look like a knee shot, more like thighs and waist

It does look like quinn torpedoes at the guy’s legs. You can’t tell what he was looking at, but his explanation that the 300 lb lineman suddenly jumped in front of him doesn’t hold water.

As cheap as they get. When I saw that giff above, I couldn’t believe the author thought that supported Quinn. It clearly shows that his story (going for the ball carrier) is bogus as the ball carrier was 4 yrds back and Suggs was directly in his line of vision. That’s a bad lie. I’m sure he didn’t mean to knock him out for the year, and I’m sure he’s sorry, but that doesn’t mean he should get all the fines, suspensions, ect. that any of the Ravens would have gotten for a hit on him the same way. If it was the other way around, Suggs would likely have been suspended.

Last but not least, I live in NE and I can’t believe how ignorant all of you are about Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens. You clearly read some tabloid headlines and never bothered to find out the real story. Pathetic.
