Bonds Not To Get Big Send Off In San Francisco Finale

BARRY BONDS TO BE BOUNCED WITHOUT ANY BIG SENDOFF: Tonight will be the last home game for Barry Bonds in a San Francisco uniform. And what special ceremonies do the Giants have planned for the slugger’s swan-song?

Barry Bond Barroid sign

Nothing, really.

The SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS reports that the left fielder will be left with his memories, but won’t be leaving with any plaques or certificates or medals.

A team spokesman said video tributes to Bonds and his best Giants moments will be shown between innings, and time will be alloted for extended applause when Barry comes to bat.

But after the final out is thrown, the only planned farewell is the traditional team wave that occurs at the end of every Giants home season.

Barry Bonds ball Marc Ecko

So, after so many years and so many controversies, what’s Barry to do now? Taking a cue from Marc Ecko, we suggest he can:

A) Sign with the Yankees
B) Retire
c) Get blasted into space

Results will be announced on NBC’s “Today Show”.

Or maybe not.
