This is the biggest bunch of BS reported over this whole issue. Thanks SbB for blowing up the most fabricated story related to Leach's contract disputes. Poor reporting by Hayes…. shameless Bob knight linkage by SbB.

It's too bad that the anecdote is entirely fabricated. Matt Hayes needs to either check his facts or maybe visit Lubbock occasionally and then he'd realize that Coach Knight would have to walk 20 minutes (1.2 miles) from the football complex to the basketball arena. Poor reporting.

Was this post an excuse to talk about Bob Knight for no apparent reason? Bring up some 8-year old anecdote and add "Bob Knight" to your tags… might drive up pageviews and impress Brooks, right? Leach isn't going to have as good a season as he had in 2008 in a long time, if ever. He's well-aware of that. If he was that determined to leave Lubbock, he had plenty of A-list opportunities at the end of last year to do so.

Just have Knight & Leach face off in a MMA showdown in the middle of Texas Tech's basketball arena. It would be a guaranteed sellout & ESPN would be foolish not to televise it. That should settle things once and for all.
