MURRAY GETS DUI AFTER STEALING GOLF CART IN SWEDEN?: PART MULE tips us to the strange tale of Bill Murray, who apparently while channeling Carl Spackler from his Caddyshack days, was pulled over in a stolen golf cart in Sweden early Monday and charged with DUI.

AP: “Police officers spotted the “Caddyshack” star early Monday in the slow-moving vehicle and noticed he smelled of alcohol when they pulled him over, said Detective Christer Holmlund of the Stockholm police.”

And the vehicle in question turned out to be the golf cart that “had been on display for a week outside the downtown hotel where Murray and other VIPs (were) attending the Scandinavian Masters golf tournament.”
When he was pulled over, Murray refused a breath test but did submit to a blood test. Results won’t be available for 14 days, so he’s got that going for him, which is nice. (Uh, he’ll be long one by then)
