Bill Zwecker of the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES reports some potentially catastrophic news for all you Pat Hughes fans out there.
Bill Murray apparently has his bloodshot sights trained on the Wrigley Field broadcast booth.
Joel’s (Murray) big brother, frequent Wrigley visitor Bill Murray, was not available to comment on the subject. ”He’s in Spain working on a film,” said the sibling. But Joel did remember a recent chat they had about the team.
”We were in the car and Bill suddenly said, ‘I think being an announcer for the Cubs would be a cool retirement job — after acting.”’
We think that’d be a perfect fit for Murray. Mainly because Cubs fans, thanks to Ron Santo and Harry Caray, have been Lost In Translation for some time now.
