Brooks - I don’t see Santicola’s statements are contradictory. He first suggested that the local PD didn’t pursue the case because it lacked merit and now that they are pursuing it he’s asking why, if the case had merit, didn’t they pursue it from the start. The contradiction is coming from Milledgeville PD which Santicola is alluding to - rather diplomatically, too, I might add. The guy is saying all the right things. Interesting how we want to villify everyone connected to Ben.

And kudos to Ben for having two cops as wingmen. At least he had some forethought there. I assumed he just had some journeyman linemen watching his back.

Ruh-roh. Expect lawsuits against the officers and CPD and PSPD. If they knowingly guarded the door or in any way prevented her from leaving or preventing others from interrupting a non-consensual act that’s false imprisonment…and that’s just the civil suit. Probably not enough evidence for a criminal case against them. But if he’s had a history of doing this kind of thing those cops are in deep.
