It was a stupid comment, but you could tell that Jemele probably wasn’t advocating that people actually throw batteries at Brett. It was just tongue-and-cheek.

The sad part is that had a white commentator made the exact same comment regarding a black athlete there would have been cries of racism and people calling for that commentators job. May this be a lesson to those people that it’s not always about race. Sometimes it’s just about idiocy.

That woman’s face looks straight up like a lemon. It’s shaped like a lemon. And She has no clue how to do her hair. I’m black, I have a sister and I know what it should look like and she looks like she has all the wrong people doing her hair. Sometimes I see her hair styles and I feel bad, cuz I think damn somebody “F*cked You Up”.
