It's the end of day 1 of a 5 day test match england have scored a bunch of runs and lost 6 batsman out of 11 so... it would be something not disimilar to having scored 3 and be on 1 out in the 2nd innings or something. but.. given i can;t explain it properly i think you might have a point i feel obliged to make some sort of dumb yanks comment, and say something like that score is pretty simple to understand, and then put it into terms that kind of make sense.
