Bad Idea: The CHICAGO SUN-TIMES reports Mike Ditka recently founded something called Ditka Records. The company’s “first venture will be a CD recorded by Sinatra-style singer John Vincent, who performs at Ditka’s Restaurant, backed by a 48-piece orchestra.”

Really Bad Idea: The PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS reports James Doolittle of something called Wookified Productions is filming a documentary on Temple University football, which was 0-11 last year and is 0-4 so far this season (and outscored 165-7 in the last three games).

Doolittle apparently graduated with a master in the obvious: “It is not going to be a highlight film.”
