He is not hindering an investigation, and he does not have to make a statement if he does not want to if he feels that he may incriminate himself. I actually agree in some ways, that he should stand up. But not to get Dr Phil in this, he feels that, as he says in his statement that this is his fault, so he will take the hit to make sure Elin does not go to jail. But this is getting to be a circus.

In the State of Florida domestic violence is a jailable offense no matter the perpetrator. It’s the law.

Stone walling the police while they are conducting an investigation is hardly a “stand up” move on Tiger’s part - no matter how nice a guy he may be.

Sure, protecting your wife is a good thing. But protecting her by hindering an investigation is a very stupid thing to do.

It’s better to get beat up on a Monday instead of a Friday. What that means is that you should tell the truth from the beginning (children, are you paying attention?) because if you tell the truth from the beginning things will not snowball into a certain PR nightmare and potential legal conundrum.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
