Like many of you reading this, we were once a glass-enclosed sports radio goon. Thankfully, we’ve escape those artificially-lit climes, but we do still have an affinity for the biz and want to give back.

We get lotsa emails from beleaguered sports radio PDs, producers, and on-air types trying to get stuff linked on SbB. Today, WPEN sent us an attached photo of some giant, signed welcome back card to be displayed at Allen Iverson’s first return to Philly as a Nugget tonight.

More important though was the lovely young lady posing with the sign.
Of course, we’re always on the lookout for new sports media talent, and looks like we have a winner in Meredith Markovits, who is pictured next to the card and below.

She’s a co-host on the WPEN morning show, and reason to root around the WPEN website for pics.

And it appears we’re not alone in our interest for Ms. Markovits. The ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS also posts the pic, which we’re sure would’ve been published had she not been in it. Right.

UPDATE: Looks like Meredith’s show is getting blowed out. One more reason to despise that pox on humanity, M & M.
