The NEW ORLEANS TIMES-PICAYUNE reports today that “noted New Orleans chef Paul Prudhomme was setting up his cooking tent on the practice range at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans golf tournament Tuesday about 9:30 a.m. when he felt a sting in his right arm, right above his elbow.”
(That’s one way to fire up a skillet)
“Prudhomme shook his clothing, and a .22 caliber bullet fell from his shirt to the ground, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.“
In what probably isn’t a coincidence, none of the big names on the PGA Tour are schedule for the event.
But if John Daly gets a sponsor’s exemption (again), it sounds like he’ll be right at home. Golf, guns and grub. Perfect.

I assume any charges leveled here would be thrown out of court since no one could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt if it was Paul Prudhomme or Dom Deluise who was shot.

Thanks for stealing my thunder Tuffy. I was going to say that in related news Dom Deluise was brought in for questioning (well, I did say it, it just isn’t so funny now).
