Agent On Tiger Woods’ Condition: “He Is Fine”

There’s a torrent of reports out there about Tiger Woods’ condition after a he suffered a single-car crash outside his home late last night. Darren Rovell reports that Woods’ agent, IMG’s Mark Steinberg, told him “He (Woods) is fine.”

Tiger Woods Agent: Tiger Is Fine

That despite the ORLANDO SENTINEL reporting this afternoon “that Woods was seriously injured in a car accident early this morning, the Florida Highway Patrol just reported.”

More:

FHP said the airbags in Woods’ Cadillac Escalade did not deploy, which means the vehicle was traveling under 33 mph. FHP did not report the accident until just after 2 p.m. today.

WESH reports that Woods suffered “facial lacerations” when “his 2009 black Cadillac Escalade when he lost control and hit a fire hydrant outside his home and a tree outside his neighbor’s home, FHP said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said FHP said “alcohol did not play a role in the crash, but that charges are pending.”

UPDATE: The ASSOCIATED PRESS reports Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident early Friday when his car struck a tree near his mansion in a gated waterfront community, authorities said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods, 33, hit the hydrant and a tree after pulling out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac sports utility vehicle.

The patrol reported his injuries as serious, and that he was taken to Health Central Hospital. His condition was not immediately known. A supervisor in the emergency room said Friday afternoon that Woods was not a patient there.

Health Central hospital reports that there is no record of Woods being a patient, and the Florida Highway Patrol report was released at 2pm ET, with the incident happening almost 12 hours earlier.

The Mayor of Windemere, the community where Woods lives, tells CNN the golfer has been released from the hospital. So by the time the FHP reported the incident to the public, Woods was already out of the hospital.

FYI: Woods’ personal golf tournament, the Chevron World Golf Challenge, kicks off Monday just outside of L.A.

    Brooks -

You’ve been all over this, so when I saw it come across the AP newswire, this was the place I immediately went.
As per your earlier post, how much are we supposed to rack (pun intended) up to “coincidence” and how much is just plain real…but not picked up by mainstream media (he is a M.M. Darling, afterall)…yet…

    Seems Shady
Rumor of Cheating….. 2.45 am accident
no alcohol…no other car involved… leaving his house at 2.45…cmon tiger

WHY IS THE FLORDIA HIGHWAY PATROL on this?
arent Highway Patrol for Highways…not cities? that alone seems shady..and its being reported at 3pm when it happened 12 hours ago…again… looks like a cover up

    Smells real bad

Even Tiger drives his own car…jeez…i guess making 100 mil a year still cant afford a 24 hour Chauffer…i can see Donte Stallworth not taking a cab when he was drunk…and believe me you..he was drinking…but Tiger Woods?

the fact that hes driving at 2 30 am..with or without alcohol is a joke

hopefully he doesnt have an Michael Phelps Clauses in his endoresments

Either that or he’ll be bigger than ever ..just Call Kobe’s PR guys… they did a good job with him

maybe he and his wife had an argument over his “alleged” affair with that babe, he got mad, stormed out, and lost control. Still, odd time to happen, slow speed, barely out of his driveway..something is not being told

@D Rock, he’s half black - no companies will drop him - they know Al and Jesse will boycott - he has a lifetime ‘get out of jail free’ card.

Let’s see: Tiger and Elin having a little ‘discussion’ about his ‘new friend’ - Tiger gets pissed and decides to go for a ride. Fire hydrants and trees get messed up.

At least he didn’t go OJ with the wife. Oh, that’s a later step.

So, we learn Tiger may be having an affair; he’s pulling out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m. and his wife has a golf club in her hand…..the plot thickens!

My son has contacts at the local Sheriffs office. He was told that Tiger was highly inebriated!! Makes a little more sense when you hit a fire hydrant in front of your own house.

Why is Tiger and his wife above the law? And why are Florida State Troopers investigating an accident inside a gated community? Like some of my cohorts, what’s up? How do Tiger and the Florida law enforcement think this is alright? Tiger choose to be in the public’s eye! He is no better than John Doe or Joe the Plumber!! If that was anyone else ,we could not tell the law ; come talk to me Sunday,Monday or Hell when I feel like it!!!! In the the real world , That Don’t Happen!!

Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole in one.
