At least there’s one big winner on the Minnesota Timberwolves roster, as Marko Jaric is getting married to supermodel Adriana Lima.
PEOPLE reports that the Victoria’s Secret vixen was celebrating her 27th birthday on Thursday when she received a surprise gift from the Serbian shooting guard - an engagement ring.
After nine months of dating, Marko finally popped the big question - and Adriana said yes. No wedding plans have been set yet. (Give the happy couple a little time, people!)
Although Adriana may have been a little surprised by the proposal, Marko is a little surprised with himself that he actually went through with it:
“I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint,” he told PEOPLE in March. “Now, it’s a little different situation.”
Amazing what a sexy lingerie model can do to a guy’s heart.
