MONTANANS MISS MIND-NUMBING ND-MICH MASH ON ABC: While watching Dave Wannstedt coach to new depths in Pitt’s loss to Michigan State, a scroll along ESPN’s Saturday morning screen announced, “Viewers in Butte, Missoula, and Great Falls, Montana, can see Notre Dame-Michigan on ESPN2.”

What could have kicked such a game off of ABC in Big Sky Country? Turns out it was Montana State vs. Dixie State that spared viewers the Clash of the Titan(ic)s.

So, instead of watching the network’s biggest comedy since “According to Jim”, Montanans were treated to a home- state blowout of their own, as the 1-AA Bobcats routed the Division II Rebels 61-7.

We’re sure fans in South Bend would’ve appreciated WBND Channel 57 switching over to…well, anything besides Jimmy Clausen getting pickled by the Wolverines’ D.
