The CINCINNATI ENQUIRER passes along news that the long-time Big East also-rans could have their November 3 encounter televised nationally on the network, thanks to each team’s successful season so far.

Chris Fowler running buddy Kirk Herbstreit told radio station 700 WLW that he got a look at the preliminary ABC schedule, and the Bulls-Bearcats matchup was penciled in as a possibility.

Herbie explains the growing excitement in the Queen City for the Cincy football squad: “With the Reds being the Reds, and the Bengals being the Bengals, and Bob Huggins being in Morgantown, they’ve become the story.”

Both schools are undefeated and nationally ranked, with South Florida sitting at #5, and Cincinnati sliding in at #15. But they have some work to do if they want a chance to shine in the primetime spotlight.
