We haven’t had any A-Rod news around here in a while. Could be because he’s not actually playing yet, trying to recover from hip surgery. But we imagine rehab must be kind of lonely for Rodriguez - if only he had a special someone to heal his heart along with his hip.
Now it appears Alex may have finally found the one (for the time being, anyway). Rumor has it that’s he hooked up with a housewife. But not just any average homemaker - a Real New York City Housewife!

THE BIG PICTURE snaps up an item from the NY DAILY NEWS that A-Rod is fawning over Bethenny Frankel, one of the stars of the Bravo reality series “The Real Housewives of New York City”. (I’ll take the DN’s word for it, since I’ve neglected to tune in to any episodes.)
The duo were reportedly spotted dining together at a Miami restaurant last Friday. And the meal went so marvelously that Rodriguez is apparently planning another food date with Frankel for this Saturday night.
So why would A-Rod be interested in Bethenny? I can think of two reasons, as shown in the examples below:
And it must also be the way Bethenny’s 39-year-old face reminds Alex of Cynthia, Madonna & Josyln Morse.
