61 Year Old Hockey Team Owner to Play in Regular Season Game

HOCKEY OWNER READY TO DELIVER SOME CHECKS: Just as Mario Lemieux did for his Pittsburgh Penguins, another owner will be hitting the ice with his hockey team - a 61-Year-Old owner, no less.

Allan B. Harvie, Jr., President & GM of the Richmond Renegades, will join his teammates/employees on March 10 when they take on the Fayetteville FireAntz. Coach John Brophy believes the boss “will definitely see some ice time and will probably start.”

Some fans might like to see this idea return to the NHL. What Blackhawks fan wouldn’t love to see ‘Dollar’ Bill Wirtz slammed through the boards?

But good luck trying to watch it on Chicago TV.
