Growing up in Kansas City, kicker Nick Lowery was probably the brightest part of wretched teams that we suffered through for nearly two decades (’70s, ’80s). Now there were always rumors of Nick being somewhat of a strange guy - at least as the social circuit goes.

But Jeff Flanagan of the KANSAS CITY STAR reports today that the 51-year-old Lowery, who has never been close to being married, is now engaged to a major MILF out of San Diego named Phoebe Chongchua. After the seeing the pic of Nick, we’re also happy to congratulate him on his new gig as a greeter at the Stratosphere in Vegas.
We just hope Phoebe, a former SD news anchor-turned-motivational speaker, did the subscription internet background check thing, since Nick might have a few skeletons jangling around. More pics of her after the jump.

Just thinking of the celebrity wedding has us amped. Frank Gansz, Tom Bettis, Paul Wiggin, Mike Livingston, Mike Bell, Art Still. Our helicopter rental will soon be hovering over the proceedings - which we assume will be held in a remote Laughlin location.

I don’t think you understand what a cougar is… if Lowery is 51, that would mean she’d have to be 70-something to qualify as a cougar… and that’s just gross.

So after a few minutes of thinking (he didn’t deserve much more) - if your about to ruin something that might be really great for someone else, I have decided to proceed because I wish someone could have told me when I was in this position in a previous lifetime. And the ability to blog it even better!.. maybe in this day and age having a place to gather information from random people before marriage isn’t such a bad thing. Might save some people valuable time, money and energy even! I really don’t know how I feel about telling you ( I guess I’ll find out when all is said and done) … you can look at it from both angles… I can think I’m saving you from future heartbreak, or I can leave it alone and let it ride through. There are some people who are total players and then do actually find that one and posess the ability to settle down. Whether you are this girl for Nick.. no one can tell until it runs through. But he did and has been intermittinly sleeping with my friend in Scottsdale for months. with the most recent contact just a few weeks ago…. As you can see -I have made my decision - I decided to try and save you your heartbreak. And that is a decision I hope someone.. if only to read it on a blog..would do for me.
