A UConn football player has been identified as the second victim in Sunday morning’s fatal stabbing of Jasper Howard at the University of Connecticut.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS reports “Brian Parker, a 19-year-old sophomore wide receiver from Sarasota, Fla., sustained minor injuries in the attack that killed teammate Jasper Howard outside a university-sponsored dance.”
Parker, who is academically ineligible this season, identified suspect Johnny Hood as being involved in the attack. Hood is being held on $100,000 bond but has not been charged.
Notable: Howard is from Miami and Parker is from Sarasota which might explain their friendship and/or the reason they were out together on Saturday night.

Brian did not know jasper before college I went to highschool with him and he was stabbed close to his spine and got 4 stiches… he said he is ok and he did not id Hood,
