WATER FABLE: The LONDON SUN reports soccer simpleton David Beckham once bathed entirely in Evian bottled water during a road trip to Russia because he was told by a prankster English soccer official that the local tap water, supposedly contaminated by the Chernoybl nuclear disaster, would cause his hair to fall out.

Ian Dunwoody, who helped organize the trip at the time: “We took our own food and bottled water. When I asked about the amount of water being used they said it wasn’t for drinking but for washing. It costs thousands of pounds in water.“
